At the CSS Annual Showcase in June, Tawanda made the exciting announcement that the Camden Sophisticated Sisters are going to be getting a new building. What a day for CSS! And more importantly, what a day for Camden. Tawanda’s vision for the building is to transform it into a life-changing youth recreation center for all the city’s young people.

But there’s still much work to be done. The building today is a run-down, abandoned, factory site. Getting it move-in ready is going to take a large financial investment. To that end, CSS has just kicked off a $250,000 fund raising campaign. It’s a big challenge, and it’s just the type of challenge that the Camden Sophisticated Sisters are cut out for!
